concert series. This year's lineup consists of the following seven performances.
All concerts are at 8:00 p.m. except the WSO at 7:30 p.m.
in the Pinawa Community Centre.

Woody Holler and his Orchestra : Western Swing |

Woody Holler grew up listening to the songs of the Cowboy. Later he studied classical music and fell in love with jazz. For Woody, Western Swing connects these various styles of music. As a trained opera singer, Woody brings his wonderful tenor voice and attention to detail to every performance. His repertoire features finger-snapping swing beats, slow love songs, and "extreme" yodeling.

Jimmy G and the Doo Wops : Tribute to the 50s & 60s |

Relive the Rock and Roll and Doo Wop music of the 50s and 60s as Jimmy G and the Doo Wops recreate the classic hits of the era. Dig out those saddle shoes and poodle skirts and enjoy a night of the hits of Elvis, Buddy Holly, Connie Francis, the Platters, and many more great performers.

The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra : Holiday Tour |

Get the Christmas season off to a wonderful start with the WSO. Over 60 members of this famous orchestra, under the direction of Richard Lee, will grace our stage to perform a variety of music, including sacred and secular Christmas works. If you have never experienced the glory of a full orchestra, this is your chance.

Jorge Miguel Flamenco Ensemble : World Music |

Spanish Canadian guitarist and composer, Jorge Miguel formed the ensemble in 2002 to bring true Flamenco to audiences across Canada. He has gathered together some of the finest flamenco aficionados: singers, percussionists and bassists, who bring Latin and jazz influences to the ensemble, as well as dancers trained in the best schools in Spain. Together Jorge Miguel and associates create passionate music, dance and song.

Jaydee Bixby : Country |

Raised in a home of dedicated musicians, Jaydee Bixby became Canadian Idol's fifth season's runner-up thanks to his strong work ethic, impeccable voice, and hip-swaggering stage manner. After his success on Canadian Idol, Bixby released his debut album. Cowboys and Cadillacs intertwines Bixby’s down home roots with a rock edge to create enduring country anthems including the infectious lead single "Old Fashioned Girl."

Cantabile: The London Quartet : Vocal Quartet |

Cantabile has been delighting audiences since 1982 with their unique blend of harmony and humour. The program From Madrigal to McCartney takes their audience on a musical journey from early part-songs, through Bach and Rossini, folksong and classical parody to the Beatles and the twenty-first century. With thirteen solo albums, over 2,000 live performances and more than 200 TV appearances worldwide, they are truly a world class act. London, New York and now Pinawa!!

The Bowties : Roots meets Classical |

The violin and the piano. The fiddle and the guitar. Add a line of witty repartee and you have The Bowties, a group that explores the connections between these two seemingly different musical styles. Between the Duo Concertante's ravishing renditions of the classics, and Gordon Stobbe's toe-tapping Metis fiddle tunes, maritime airs and his own heartwarming compositions, you've got a little musical magic.
