Garson Community Centre is located next to the Arena, and is
used for weddings, socials, bingo, and for any other fundraising activity. Golf Courses
A driving range
is located in the Brokenhead River RV Park, and can be reached at
204-268-3335 for more information. The scenic public eighteen hole Mars Sand Hills Golf Course is picturesque with the wide fairways and rolling hills all surrounded by densly population trees. It is located approximately 16 km north of Beausejour on #12 Highway and 6 kms west on Highway 317, boasts a licensed clubhouse, practise facilities and a pro shop. Golf Course is a public 9 hole golf course located outside of town along
the Brokenhead River. This makes the first hole the most challenging as the
first water hazard is the river, right from the tee off! There is also a pro
shop and a licensed club house and restaurant. For more information

Parks/Campgrounds
The Brokenhead
area is close to three Provincial parks, the Whiteshell, Agassiz
and Birds Hill Park. There are two forest reserve areas, the Mars
Hills Forest Reserve which consists of approximately 5000 acres
and the Brokenhead Ecological Reserve that protects about 100 acres
of first growth hardwood-oak, elm and spruce.
Great
Woods Park & Campground, located 24 km north of Winnipeg
on Highway #59, offers rollerblading, camping, swimming, picnic sites,
hiking and cycling and is open late April to October. It is a unique
120 acre park and campground highlighted with groomed lawns and
the Brokenhead River. Seven kilometers of self-guided trails
can be explored in a mixed ecological forest. The campground
has serviced and unserviced sites with modern washrooms.You can
also access a convenience store as well as barbecue pits and shower

The Brokenhead River RV Park & Driving Range is located one mile east of Beausejour on Highway #44. It is open May 15 to September 30. The park has unserviced sites as well as serviced sites. Sewage disposal, modern washrooms, a beach, a convenience store, barbecue pits and shower facilities are available. There is a playground, hiking and biking trails, fishing, pedal boat rentals, plus a covered picnic shelter for large groups. Fishing Artic
Aqua Farms/Garson Sportsfishing Park, located one mile west and
half mile south of Garson is a great place to fish. Eighteen ponds
are stocked with a variety of fish for anglers of all ages
and is open year-round. A bait and tackle shop, as well as, barbecue

Playgrounds Trails
Many trails can be found in the area, including cross-country
trails, snowmobile trails, biking and hiking trails, through Gull
Lake, Thalberg, Stead, and Mars Hills. The Brokenhead Trail Blazers
maintain the trails and clubhouses throughout the year.
