EASTMAN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT INC.
Established in
1968, Eastman Regional Development, Inc. is owned and operated by its
member municipalities. As a member of the Corporation, a representative
will be appointed to sit on the Board of Directors. The Full Board
meets monthly. Together with staff, Board members develop a one-year
plan and a five-year plan for the Corporation.
Eastman Regional
Development, Inc. employs two office staff and frequently hires
additional employees on special project assignments. Office hours are held in the south half
of the region as required, to ensure accessibility to all parts of
the region. Arrangements can be made to hold office hours in your
community.
MEMBERSHIP FEES:
Municipalities are invited to join the Corporation yearly which
entitles residents, businesses, and organizations to access the
services of the Corporation, FREE OF CHARGE!!
The annual membership contribution
for 2007 is:
- $0.798 per capita for Rural Municipalities and Local
Government Districts to a maximum of $2,888.27.
- $0.932 per capita for Towns or Villages with a population
of under 1200 people.
- $1.06
per capita for Towns or Villages with a population of over 1200 people
to a maximum of $2,888.27.
- Associate membership fees are $100.00 for businesses
not in the membership municipalities (subject to approval by
the Board of Directors)
- Corporate membership fees are assessed on an individual
basis.
