Young Eagle rides to people under the age of 18 interested in learning more
about aviation. In 2003, the RAA Workshop-Final Assembly building, one of
its kind in Canada, was completed. This facility provides students, cadets,
pilots, builders, and individuals of all ages interested in the aerospace
industry with the opportunity to drop in and gain hands-on experience in
aircraft building techniques, theory of flight, and other aviation related
concepts. Financial support from the RM of Springfield and over 80 volunteer
pilots, builders, tradespeople and building supply outlets created this unique
facility! Contact jill_oakes@umanitoba.ca for information on upcoming workshops
