THE CROW WING TRAIL
During the 19th century, the Crow Wing Trail was the way many of Manitoba's first pioneers arrived in the province and the primary means by which supplies were brought to the growing Red River Settlement from St. Paul, Minesota. It wound through the scenic grounds of the Saint-Pierre-Jolys Museum site and it was along this historic trail that the first printing press of the Winnipeg Free Press was carried. This highway closely follows the actual trail which is being rebuilt as part of the Trans Canada Highway.

MAISON GOULET

 Wing Trail.
