Whitemouth Curling Rink contains three sheets of artificial ice
for curling and ice-hockey.
Seven
Sisters Curling Rink consists of two sheets of artificial ice.

Whitemouth District Lions Club - Situated along Hwy #44. Picnic tables,
barbecue pits, covered eating area.
BASEBALL DIAMONDS:
The area has six baseball diamonds.
Those containing grand stands, have a seating capacity of approximately
50 people.
KAYAKING AND CANOEING:
Kayaking and canoeing on the Whitemouth
River is a favourite pastime of visitors and residents alike. Nakka Falls
(Farmers Rapids), Oak Falls and Cooks Falls are used as whitewater kayaking
teaching sites, due to their grading of Class 2 to 3.
CROSS COUNTRY SKI TRAILS:
Six kilometers of groomed cross-
country ski trails that are easily accessible from the road are located
in Seven Sisters and near the Town of Whitemouth. The Eastman-Snopal Trail
connects with the Whiteshell and Can-Am Trails for the snowmobile enthusiast.
ATHLETIC TRACK/ BASKETBALL COURT:
An athletic track and basketball
court are available in the Rural Municipality of White- mouth.
BIRD WATCHING/WALKING
TRAILS:
In the Rural Municipality of Whitemouth,
you can sight the Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, as well as, songbirds and waterfowl
in their natural habitat.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
FACILITY:
The Whitemouth-Reynolds North
Waste Management Facility, is situated on Highway #11, south of Whitemouth
approximately 6 km. This facility was built to accom- modate household waste
and recyclables from the municipalities of Whitemouth and Reynolds and the
Noirth Whiteshell Provincial Park. The facility sorts, grinds and composts
all household wastes and stores all recyclables until ready to be shipped
and sold. An Eco Centre is also available for the disposal of waste oil.

FIRE FIGHTING SERVICES:
Services are provided on a voluntary
basis by dedicated citizens. The fire station is located on Railway Avenue
in Whitemouth.

Year-round sports enthusiasts can enjoy a great getaway complete with home

Cooks Falls Campground
- Ten unserviced sites and seven electrical sites are available, as well
as, barbecue pits, drinking water, fishing, tubing, canoeing and kayaking.Open May to October. Contact: (204) 348-7752
Lions Park Campground
- Located in the Town of
Whitemouth, is open from May to October and features a barbeque and
a cook shack. Free overnight camping is available.
Oak
Falls Campground - Open from
May to October, the Oak Falls Campground features 20 unserviced sites
plus seven electrical sites. Fishing, tubing, canoeing and kayaking are
available for those looking for a little adventure. The site has a playground,
beaches, and firewood is available if you wish to sit around a fire in
the evening and reminisce. You can contact the Oak Falls Campground at

Whitemouth
Falls Wayside Park - Located on Highway 307, 0.75 kilometres north of
Seven Sisters Falls. It features a playground, picnic grounds, fishing,
and washrooms. It is near stores that can provide you with gas, tackle and
restaurants.
Note: Overnight camping is prohibited in the majority of waysides (As
per the Manitoba Accommodations and Camp -grounds Guide).
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Alma Hotel: Located on Railway Avenue in Elma. It has a licensed
restaurant where you can enjoy a good meal. Contact the Elma Hotel at

Tourist Hotel: Located in Seven Sisters and has a licensed restaurant.

Whitemouth Hotel: Boasts clean, com- fortable rooms and friendly service.
There are four units with a capacity of 10. It is open seven days a week.

Seven Sisters Motel &
Restaurant: Located on Highway 307 at the entrance to the Whiteshell
Provincial Park, it has bait, licenses and video rentals available. Parking
and trailer storage is also available for those who need it. The Motel has
five units with a capacity of twenty and a licensed restaurant. Room service
