The pictures collected here were supplied by Dave McTaggart. As a 15 year old boy, Dave was just old enough to help with the monumental sandbagging efforts we Manitobans are becoming familiar with again. His brother John took these pictures as a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force Reserves in May of 1950.
