Healers' Retreat at the Maskwa Project This is a low cost, "getaway weekend" facilitated at the Maskwa Project. Maskwa is an appropriate technology, wilderness retreat located on the Bear (Maskwa) River, just minutes from Pine Falls (1.5 hr from Wpg.). Hiking trails and canoes are available onsite. Maskwa project has a healing quality all on it's own! The site has been rated as "Luxury Camping" by many of its clients. A wood heated sauna is on site, bring swim wear if you must! (Note: there is no running water during the deep freeze of winter, outdoor biffy is it, washing and drinking water are supplied.) Participate in exchanges with other likeminded individuals in "one on one" or with group healing modalities. Participants may include (but are not be limited to), Massage Therapists, Herbalists, Healing Touch Practitioners, Reiki, CST, Rosen Method, Body Talk and others. Yoga practice and group meditations may be scheduled. Nonparticipating partners may also be accommodated. Your commitment is one treatment given for one treatment received, plus the cost of rent at Maskwa ($15 per night). Bring food for self and potluck meals, sleeping bag, and flashlight.
