Energy is energy. Whether you do Therapeutic Touch, Reiki, Acupuncture or anything else, energy is energy. The difference is how we are taught to utilize it. In this day and age I am of the strong mind that we need to come together and share our experiences and learn from one another. Hence the formation of the International Academy of Energy Medicine. Within this newsletter and over the course of the next few months you will be receiving information about workshops and seminars to enhance your practice. You will be given the chance to become a member of the Academy and to receive the benefits of that membership. |

As we speak, an Energy Medicine website is being constructed where you will have the opportunity as a member to have your name, practice and how to get in touch with you placed on the website. As well, you will obtain discounts to the Academy's workshops and seminars and receive information about energy medicine at regular intervals. I'm excited. This has been a long time coming. Energy Medicine - What is it? |

Each one of us has the capacity for natural self-healing. The human body is miraculous. We have within us a cache of natural wisdom and healing energy that we can draw upon at any time to assist us to feel good and to stay healthy. This wisdom is in every culture. Our good health is dependant on our ability to direct this energy. It's much like the blood that flows through our system. The human body has trillions of cells, which are electrochemically connected. This expansive network coordinates and directs our health, emotions and |

behaviour. When we draw on these ancient healing and spiritual practices we combine Energy Medicine with this wisdom. Energy Medicine is the process where we learn how to work with our body's energy to increase our zest for life and enhance the everyday pleasures of living in our own body. We begin to overcome chronic health problems and become more consciously and joyfully immersed in the deepest workings of our entire being. |

Upcoming Workshops and Seminars |

Energy Medicine Nov. 26 & 27/05 - Enhancing your abilities. This workshop will add increased focus on specific areas of the body and how to utilize specific body organs to increase healing. To attend you must have experience in energy work. How To Achieve A Fuller Life Jan. 28 & 29/06 - You will take an in-depth look at where you are in your life, what you want to change and how to change this. Your current belief system will be studied in depth. This workshop is based on my latest book. A copy will be supplied to you at the workshop. |

Starting in September of 2005 there will be a number of workshops and seminars you will be able to attend. Therapeutic Touch Level I. The Wellness Institute at Seven Oaks Hospital has asked me to conduct this workshop and I have agreed. It will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 24 & 25.
